David Klatsky is general counsel with 26 years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, for-profit and tax-exempt healthcare services clients on the transactional and regulatory aspects of healthcare mergers and acquisitions. As general counsel at Premier, Klatsky leads the organization’s legal and compliance initiatives. A nationally recognized healthcare legal expert, he helped lead Premier through its initial public offering and corporate restructure.

Prior to joining the organization, Klatsky worked extensively with Premier and its affiliate companies. He also served as Premier’s chief outside counsel as partner in the health practice group at McDermott Will & Emery LLP.

Klatsky’s career has also included serving as the lead lawyer in a broad cross section of health industry transactions and speaking on health care reform, accountable care and healthcare transactional techniques.

Klatsky received his Juris Doctor from the University of California—Los Angeles School of Law and is also a graduate of Brown University. He has been ranked by Woodward White as one of The Best Lawyers in America® for four consecutive years. LinkedIn
