Tony has over 35 years of finance and accounting experience advising emerging growth companies in mergers, acquisitions and industry consolidations. Tony advises private equity funds and strategic clients on buy and sell-side issues including commercial and financial due diligence, financial model and business strategy risks and structuring. He has assisted clients in completing transactions with deal values in excess of $10 billion and complex dispositions involving multiple divisions in several countries.
Prior to founding Southcoast Advisors, LLC in 2019, Tony was a partner in the Deal Advisory practice of KPMG, LLP. He has led multiple buy-side due diligence engagements for both private equity and strategic clients over the past 20 years. Tony’s other professional experience includes 7 years at a boutique investment bank which completed 3 public roll-ups that generated $200 million in IPO proceeds and $500 million in senior debt commitments. Tony also served as the CFO of the Anheuser Busch distributor in Houston, TX where he advised a group of shareholders including six members of the Busch family in the diligence, structuring and financing of the acquisition of the $400 million distributor.

Tony has served as a Director for the Houston chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and on the board of the Houston Symphony. He has been a frequent speaker at KPMG’s annual Global Energy Conference and Power & Utility Tax Share Forum. He has published articles on energy industry M&A issues in Oil and Gas Investor and other trade publications. LinkedIn
